As many of you know, Christmas at Lanhydrock is normally our busiest time of year! Like many places in Cornwall, we spend December hosting Christmas Party nights as well as a Daily Carvery which people come from far & wide to enjoy!

This year however has been very different…

Due to COVID-19 and the necessary health and safety precautions, unfortunately we have not been able to hold any Christmas events this year which feels most unusual for all our staff who have become so used to the festivities.

Although not the same as other years, this Christmas at Lanhydrock has still been a successful one!
It has been great to receive the continued support of our Members who have been making the most of the Course (when dry weather allows!) and frequenting our Nineteen Bar of course. We have also been busy welcoming many regulars and new faces alike for lunch and festive treats – see our amazing homemade Mince Pies below 😋

This unusually quiet Winter will give all our staff an opportunity to use up holiday – which has been earned after an extremely busy season in Cornwall – as well as give a facelift to our Reception area…
Clare has been busy working with an Interior Designer to select colour palettes and soft furnishings to brighten up our Reception. We are looking forward to you all seeing the finished result in the New Year!
